What is POPS-BaM?

POPS-BaM is the abbreviation for POEA Online Processing System for Balik-Manggagawa. It is a new online system introduced by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), now known as the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW). POPS-BaM allows Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) to obtain their Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) online, eliminating the need to visit POLO offices abroad or DMW offices in the Philippines.

This system is designed for OFWs who are on vacation in the Philippines and plan to return to the same employer and job site with an existing DMW record. Its primary purpose is to provide convenient online services, specifically for processing the OEC, which is a mandatory exit clearance for departing the Philippines for overseas employment. POPS-BaM is also accessible to foreign employers, recruitment agencies, and other government entities involved in managing overseas employment programs.

To avail of the online services, job seekers need to register an account on POPS-BaM.

POPS-BaM, apart from providing the convenience of securing an OEC online, offers additional online services that greatly benefit OFWs and Filipino workers aspiring to work abroad. By creating a POPS-BaM account, you gain access to the following services:
